The School

A small, friendly school with a big heart. Their amazing students (Years 2-6) all have difficulties with communication and social interaction, often linked with Autism. Every day is different, full of creativity, laughter and those "lightbulb" moments that make teaching here so rewarding.

We're now on the lookout for a passionate Primary Teacher to join their supportive team and help their young learners shine.

What You'll Be Doing

This role is all about helping our children learn, grow and feel supported. Some of the things you'll do include:

• Planning and delivering engaging, fun lessons tailored to individual needs.
• Setting and reviewing personalised goals for each student.
• Working closely with colleagues, parents and professionals as part of a brilliant multi-disciplinary team.
• Celebrating progress (big and small!) and sharing this with families.
• Bringing creativity, structure, patience and fun into the classroom every day.

What We're Looking For - We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• A PGCE, QTS or equivalent qualification.
• Experience teaching across a range of subjects, or if you are newly qualified.
• Knowledge of Autism (ASD), SEMH or PDA - or a willingness to learn more.
• An understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• A positive approach to behaviour support and building strong, trusting relationships.
