• Monday - Thursday: 9:00 - 17:30
• Friday: 9:00 - 16:30
• DBS Required: Yes
• Driving Licence: Full UK licence and regular access to a vehicle required

We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our team at Apsley One for a 6-month contract. This role is essential in covering a current vacancy and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on residents' lives.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will:

• Build effective relationships with individuals, communities, and professionals to improve outcomes.
• Conduct and contribute to assessments using appropriate frameworks, ensuring support plans are cost-effective and person-centred.
• Organise resources and manage your workload efficiently to meet service demands.
• Participate in case planning and reviews, applying technical expertise and research.
• Manage your own caseload autonomously, prioritising tasks as needed.
• Provide feedback to support continuous service improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and HCPC registration.
• Practice aligned with the Royal College of Occupational Therapists' standards and HCPC proficiency guidelines.
• Knowledge of key legislation including the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005.
• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Experience working with partners and external agencies.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
