Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy, based in Woolwich, is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team. With 138 staff members and a dedicated 20-person Quantity Surveying team, they provide expert services across residential, commercial, and public sector projects.

This role is ideal for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with at least 2 years' experience, particularly those with a consultancy and residential background. Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Benefits:

Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Role Overview:

• Support in cost planning, budgeting, and financial reporting for projects
• Assist in preparing tender documents, contracts, and procurement strategies
• Conduct valuations, variations, and final account negotiations under supervision
• Gain residential sector expertise, ensuring cost-effective project delivery
• Assist with contract administration and risk management
• Work closely with senior surveyors, clients, and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes
• Develop skills in cost management, dispute resolution, and project efficiency

Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Requirements:

• BSc / MSc in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
• Consultancy and residential experience preferred
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ambition to progress towards RICS chartership
• Good tenure in previous roles
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)
