An established small cost and project management consultancy based in London is seeking a qualified MRICS Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead their team. This consultancy focuses on projects ranging from residential developments to museums and student accommodation, handling projects valued between 50 million and 100 million.

MRICS Senior Quantity Surveyor Role

As the MRICS Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for running the team and managing various projects. This role involves overseeing a range of high-value assignments while ensuring that quality and client satisfaction are consistently maintained.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading and managing the quantity surveying team
• Managing pre and post-contract tasks
• Mentoring junior colleagues
• Preparing cost reports and tender documentation
• Collaborating with clients and stakeholders

The MRICS Senior Quantity Surveyor requirements

• BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying or RICS accredited degree
• MRICS or currently working towards it
• Experience within a private practice/consultancy
• Strong pre and post-contract knowledge
• Capable of supporting with team management and mentoring
• Proficient in Microsoft software, especially Word and Excel
