What will the role of Lead Practitioner of Maths entail?

• Raising attainment, and quality of learning across KS3-KS4 - KS5 Is an additional option
• Working alongside a very STRONG Head of Department
• Leading from the front, oozing passion & enthusiasm towards Maths!

The Head Teacher is keen to find an enthusiast who can take the Schools Maths curriculum & department to the next level. You'll be given full support from SLT while the freedom to make changes where needed.

You'll be joining a School with a HUGE list of achievements over the past 10 years, while being surrounded by peers who generally want to make a difference daily. There's no pointless / outdated teaching or marking methods - EVERYTHING makes sense.

• Lead Practitioner Scale - £50,000 - £85,000

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Must have high standards for yourself & colleagues
• Proven record of outstanding teaching
• Real passion towards Maths
• Willingness to lead from the front
• Must have UK QTS
• Graded "Outstanding" or "Good" in recent lesson observations
