Primary - Teaching

We are looking for permanent primary school teachers in Thatcham /surrounding areas!

About the role:

• You would need strong classroom management skills, the ability to engage students in meaningful learning experiences, always maintain a safe environment, and being able to adapt to different situations.

• Prepare teaching materials, set up the classroom and organise displays.
• Plan and teach lessons and work with small groups of students.
• Mark work and talk to parents and carers about their children's progress.
• Manage the work of teaching assistants.
• Organise trips, after school clubs and sports events.
• Work and attend meetings and training outside of usual working hours.
• Adapting to different subjects and grade levels as needed.
• Collaborating with other staff members to support student needs.

Requirements for the role:

• Hold QTS/NQT status in the UK.
• Hold a DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one.
• Teaching experience in a Primary school ln the UK.
• Be prepared to cover a multitude of subjects.
• The right to work within the UK.
• Overseas police check if you have lived outside of the UK for over 6 months in the last 5 years.
• Obtainable references from schools you have previously worked at within the last 5 years.
• Specialising in one or more subjects.
