Salary: 12.30 - 13.57 per hour

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking an individual who has experience in the kitchen

The ideal candidate should be happy, working with children. We are happy to train and upskill someone who offers commitment and wants to work and learn.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Food and Hygiene certificate.
• DBS is required for this position - we can apply on your behalf.
• We are seeking a reliable, bubbly, hard working individual.
• Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the Nursery / hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising kitchen teams.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety standards, allergens and culinary trends.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure.
• A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes that delight customers.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff.
• Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous are essential.
• FLUENT ENGLISH IS REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications and customer preferences.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
• Allergen awareness
• Label creations
• Manage food production processes, including inventory control, portioning, and presentation of dishes.
• Collaborate with team members to develop new recipes and improve existing offerings.
• Show good culinary techniques, food safety practices, and operational procedures.
