Requirements
Experience:
- Proven experience in an advisory or supportive role.
- Knowledge of Luton’s voluntary sector networks and statutory organizations.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and data management.
- Strong communication skills across diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to create and manage SMART action plans for clients.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills.
Personal Attributes:

- Respect for individuals from all backgrounds.
Additional:
- Relevant qualifications in advice, support, or IT (desirable).

Roles & Responsibilities
Client Support:
- Issue vouchers and schedule appointments for foodbank services.
- Provide tailored advice and support on financial, employment, and health-related challenges.
- Develop and maintain personalized SMART action plans for clients.
Partnership & Collaboration:
- Work closely with charities, local authorities, and other partners.
- Conduct regular communication, updates, and quarterly meetings with partners and funders.
- Promote Luton Foodbank’s services among external organizations.
Data Management:
- Capture and maintain accurate client data while adhering to GDPR.
- Produce quarterly impact reports for funders and stakeholders.
Community Engagement:
- Raise awareness of Luton Foodbank’s services through outreach initiatives.
- Organize events, radio adverts, and podcasts to promote available support.
Networking & Advocacy:
- Participate in local networks and meetings to expand client opportunities.
- Advocate for clients and connect them to appropriate services and resources.
