About the OpportunityService Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a
Recycling Project Supervisor to support the delivery of a major waste and recycling initiative in North London.This is an exciting role for someone with a passion for environmental sustainability, community engagement, and project coordination. You will be helping to deliver recycling education, reduce contamination in waste streams, and promote greener habits among residents.
Role ResponsibilitiesAs a
Recycling Project Supervisor, you will:
- Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of recycling and waste reduction projects.
- Organise and supervise a team of Recycling Advisors, scheduling daily activities and tracking progress.
- Collect, analyse, and present data to inform project decision-making (e.g. household engagement, recycling participation, and service performance).
- Coordinate and support resident and stakeholder engagement activities to promote recycling awareness.
- Liaise with internal departments and external partners to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Monitor and evaluate service trials and pilot projects, gathering feedback and reporting on outcomes.
- Identify and report any operational issues, ensuring high standards of service and safety are maintained.
- Support related environmental initiatives and service improvement projects as required.
Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in project coordination, supervision, or community engagement.
- Confident leading a small team and ensuring objectives are achieved.
- Skilled in data collection, reporting, and communication.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Passionate about sustainability, recycling, and positive environmental change.
- Experienced working within local government, environmental services, or education projects (desirable but not essential).
