HGV 2 Sweeper Drivers

We are urgently requiring 2 HGV 2 Sweeper Drivers to work with our client in the Surrey Heath area. These are full time roles initially for a period of 3 months. Working hours are Monday - Friday pm.

Role Purpose

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Sweeper Driver to join our clients team. The role involves operating and maintaining road sweepers and other HGV vehicles to ensure cleanliness and compliance with operational and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGV Class 2 road sweepers across designated routes, sites, and contracts.
• Carry out routine vehicle checks, including oil, water, tyres, and reporting any defects promptly.
• Perform sweeping, cleaning, and waste collection duties in line with company procedures.
• Complete job sheets, defect reports, and any required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service when working on client sites.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Valid CPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• Experience operating sweepers or similar HGV vehicles
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable:

• Previous experience within waste management, construction, highways, or a similar sector.
• Knowledge of local routes and sites.
