What you will do
As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will:
- Take technical leadership of electrical design from concept through to completion
- Oversee project delivery and coordinate with clients, architects and wider design teams
- Provide mentoring and guidance to junior and mid-level engineers
- Contribute to the development of internal processes, standards and quality assurance
- Support client relationships and get involved in business development initiatives
- Develop and deliver energy-efficient, low-carbon electrical systems that align with net zero goals
What you will bring
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards chartership with a recognised institution
- Typically 8 years’ experience in electrical building services design within the UK
- Strong technical knowledge across lighting, power distribution, data, fire alarm and energy systems
- Demonstrated experience leading projects through all RIBA stages
- Excellent communication, leadership and coordination skills
- A proactive approach and passion for design, innovation and sustainability
