Fire Stopper

Job Overview:

We are seeking experienced Firestoppers to join our team for a project in Walton on Thames, focusing on the installation of Firefly fire protection systems. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring high-quality passive fire protection installation in line with industry regulations and site requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation of Firefly fire protection materials, including barriers, curtains, and cavity barriers.
• Ensuring all firestopping work complies with current fire safety regulations (BS 476 & EN 1366 standards).
• Sealing penetrations, joints, and voids to maintain fire compartmentation.
• Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
• Working safely and efficiently on-site while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Conducting quality checks to ensure all work meets compliance standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in firestopping installation, particularly with Firefly systems.
• Relevant fire protection certifications (e.g., FIRAS, BM Trada, or equivalent preferred).
• CSCS Card (Blue or Gold preferred).
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of passive fire protection regulations.
• Own tools and PPE.
