SANZA Teaching Agency are delighted to be working with a vibrant, creative and high-performing primary school in St John's Wood who are seeking a passionate and proactive KS2 Learning Support Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will support pupils across Key Stage 2, working alongside experienced class teachers to provide tailored academic and emotional support, including behaviour mentoring where needed.

The Role
- Supporting children across KS2 (Years 3-6) in a mix of whole-class, small-group and one-to-one settings.
- Providing targeted support for pupils who may need extra help with learning, confidence or behaviour.
- Working under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCo to deliver tailored learning interventions.
- Supporting with classroom organisation, behaviour management and lesson preparation.
- Encouraging positive behaviour, resilience and engagement in all aspects of school life.
- Contributing to extra-curricular and enrichment activities, including an optional Breakfast Club (paid overtime available).
- Full-time role, Monday to Friday, term time only.
- Opportunity for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about education and eager to inspire children to achieve their best.
- Experienced working with KS2 pupils or keen to develop their skills in upper primary education.
- Able to support pupils with additional needs or behavioural challenges in a positive and proactive way.
- Energetic, creative and reliable, with a great sense of humour and enthusiasm for learning.
- Confident working collaboratively as part of a strong, supportive team.
- Interested in building a career in education - this role could be ideal for a future teacher or SEN specialist.
- Available to start immediately and committed to the full academic year.
