Location: East London
Salary: 35,000- 40,000 plus Benefits

Irwin and Colton have been engaged by one of the UK's largest real estate organisations to identify a new Health, Safety and Building Safety Advisor. The organisation has a multibillion-pound turnover and specialises in a wide variety of commercial and residential property.

This role will be working across a renowned estate featuring numerous modern residential and commercial properties, of which 66 of them are high-rise residential. The position will report to the Health, Safety and Compliance Manager.

Responsibilities of the Health, Safety and Building Safety Advisor will include:

• Assist with Building Safety Cases and Gateway applications for planning, preconstruction, and completion stages.
• Work alongside the Health and Safety manager to ensure that all statutory repairs, servicing and maintenance obligations are undertaken within the timescales specified in accepted guidance.
• Assessment and monitoring of health and safety performance across the estate, and making suggestions for improvements

The successful Health, Safety and Building Safety Advisor will have:

• NEBOSH general certificate (or equivalent) and membership of IOSH
• Proven experience in health and safety within a residential real estate environment
• Knowledge of Building Safety Act 2022, Fire Safety Act 2021, and related legislation.
• Experience within safety management systems
