Head of Housing Needs & Transformation

Park Avenue has partnered with a London Borough on the lookout for a Head of Housing Needs & Transformation, focused on upstream prevention, rough sleeping, and taking a different approach for different client demographics. You'll also lead on the Council's Housing Strategy.

Besides needing in-depth knowledge of Homelessness legislation and a track record of delivery (ideally in London), you'll need excellent Programme Management skills. Reducing caseloads, minimising staff turnover, and increasing headcount-a strong network will be a huge asset here!-will all be key parts of the assignment, which will be at least six months in length.

The Corporate Leadership Team is excellent, sharing a vision with Councillors to make Housing in the borough a priority. The Council is also used to bringing in interim consultants at this level, so your initiative will be valued despite not being a permanent officer.
