Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a real difference in their school experience?

We are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant secondary school in Hackney, working with Year 10 pupils with moderate learning needs.

This role would suit someone with strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive, trusting relationships with students. A background as a Learning Mentor would be highly valued. The school is also keen to welcome applicants with a sporty side, as the students enjoy engaging in ball games and active play during breaks.

The role:

• Supporting Year 10 students with moderate learning needs in and out of class
• Promoting positive behaviour and providing tailored support
• Encouraging engagement in both academic learning and social development
• Working as part of a supportive school team

Details:

• Location: Hackney
• Duration: Until the end of the academic year
• Pay: £95 per day (increasing to £128 per day after 12 working weeks)
• Trials taking place imminently
