The Role:

As a Supply Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in supporting schools during periods of staff absence or additional demands. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging and effective lessons across various subjects and age groups.
• Upholding a positive learning environment while ensuring the safety and well-being of students.
• Following lesson plans and adapting them to suit the needs of each class.
• Managing classroom behavior and promoting a respectful learning atmosphere.
• Encouraging student participation and academic growth.
• Collaborating with other staff members and maintaining open communication with school leadership.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
• Previous experience working in a school environment is desirable but not mandatory.
• Flexibility and adaptability to teach different subjects and age groups.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
• A passion for education and a commitment to the development of young minds.
• A DBS on the update service
• A driver is desirable but not a requirement. This is useful based on the location of some of our schools.
