Catering Engineer Permanent Full-Time

Salary - Circa 40,000 DOE + OTE 70k
Location - In office, London

Responsibilities, but are not limited to

• Perform safety checks, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial catering equipment and kitchen installations
• Ensure a first-time fix approach by identifying faults, ordering parts, and completing repairs efficiently
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports, updating internal systems with equipment details
• Commission catering equipment and installations in compliance with company and regulatory standards
• Travel to client sites to conduct repairs, maintenance, and commissioning of catering equipment
• Provide technical support to internal teams, assisting with projects and installations
• Participate in an on-call rota (typically 1 in every 4-5 weekends) to support urgent repairs

Experiences required

• Strong background in electrical & mechanical engineering
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Field Service Engineer
• Relevant industry experience (catering equipment, vending, coffee, refrigeration, etc.)
• Formal engineering qualifications (apprenticeship, time served, HNC or higher)
• Gas safety & refrigeration certifications (desirable but not essential): F-Gas Refrigeration, CCCN1, COMCAT-1, COMCAT-3, COMCAT-5, CCLNG1, CLE1, CONGLP/PD, CENWAT, ICPN1, TPCP1, TPCPA1
