- Ensure operational and financial performance, aligning budget to market and reviewing financial results with teams.
- Collaborate with business development on local strategy and support key customers.
- Manage health, safety, and environmental areas, including compliance and training.
- Oversee the quote process, ensuring timely processing and accuracy, and negotiate with customers or providers.
- Manage vendor and third-party provider performance and relationships.
- Compute tariffs and manage pricing for merchandise exported to foreign destinations.
- Maximize profitability through superior customer service and effective communication.
- Manage all importor breakbulk transactions and ensure compliance with government programs.
- Ensure timely clearance and delivery of import cargo through Customs monitoring.
- Establish record keeping standards and oversee file maintenance.
