Nursery Room Leader

Salary: £29,120 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am-6:30pm (40 hours per week)

Location: Bermondsey, SE16

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Room Leader to join our small, friendly, and professional team. Our nursery cares for up to 20 children aged 2-5 years, and we are seeking someone who is passionate about leading a team and supporting children's learning and development.

Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification
• At least 1 years' experience leading a room or team in a nursery or early years setting
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to use initiative
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS and experience in planning and monitoring children's learning and development
• A positive, team-focused attitude with a genuine love for working with children

Your Responsibilities:

• Leading and supporting the team to provide high-quality care and education
• Overseeing the planning and delivery of daily activities in line with the nursery's curriculum and the EYFS framework
• Acting as Key Person, maintaining accurate learning and development records
• Ensuring the environment is safe, welcoming, and meets all health and safety requirements
