Are you an experienced Associate Structural Engineer looking to take on more responsibility in a dynamic, multidisciplinary engineering firm in London? Our client is seeking a motivated professional like you!

Reporting to the Director, you will manage a variety of projects and teams, ensuring the successful technical delivery of each scheme. A strong understanding of business development is essential, as you will play an active role in promoting the company's services.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing staff across both national and international projects
• Representing our client at project meetings, site visits and industry events
• Effectively communicating and liaising with Clients, Architects and Contractors
• Managing both personal and team workloads to meet tight deadlines and budget constraints while providing expert advice and guidance
• Using your communication and coaching skills to build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, clients and external stakeholders, including leading design meetings
• Developing and expanding a client base in your area of work, targeting all sectors and fee ranges
• Preparing fee proposals for incoming enquiries (with approval from the MD)
• Project managing and completing structural design and detailing as required
• Conducting quality assurance tasks, including reviewing calculations, drawings, and reports before they are issued
• Interviewing, recruiting, and managing staff as directed by the Managing Director
