We're recruiting for a part-time Payroll Officer to join a friendly finance team. The role involves managing payroll for a medium-sized workforce, supporting reporting and compliance tasks, and assisting with general finance duties. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys structure, accuracy, and working in a consistent office-based role.

Your new role
Your new role will see you reporting directly to the HR Manager, where you'll be asked to fulfil various responsibilities.
Responsibilities will include:

- Process monthly payroll for a large team- Manage employee changes, statutory payments, and payroll adjustments
- Reconcile timesheets and prepare payroll reports
- Submit required filings and returns
- Support year-end payroll tasks and reporting
- Respond to staff queries and liaise with external providers
- Assist with data analysis and audit preparation
- Maintain accurate records and documentation

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will possess:
Previous experience in payroll administration
Strong numerical and analytical skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in spreadsheet use and financial systems
A proactive and professional approach to work
