We are looking for a Management Accountant to support a fast-growing technology business. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team and gain experience working for a PE-backed company. This is a hybrid role (3 - 4 days in the office), and the salary on offer is up to £65k PA (depending on experience).

Responsibilities:

• Prepare management accounts for group entities including monthly consolidation within a 5 day close process
• Prepare variance analysis providing insights into the groups financial performance against budgets and forecasts
• Ensure that all balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly
• Support the AP and AR teams by:
• Overseeing the reconciliation of bank and HIF accounts prepared by AR and AP teams
• Oversee the reconciliation of the Ledgers.

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent
• 5 years of experience in Management Accounts, in a reporting and financial control environment
• You must be able to drive to the office and live within a commutable distance to St Albans.
• Ideally with previous use of Sage X3 or similar software
• Strong analytical, quantitative and communication skills
• Advanced Excel user with the ability to manage/format large files, produce ad hoc reports and perform data analysis

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000

Location: St Albans (hybrid)
