SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to be supporting a welcoming and well-established primary school in Brent in their search for a passionate and nurturing Nursery Teacher to lead their morning-only Nursery provision from September 2026.

This is a permanent, part-time position (mornings only), paid on the Main Pay Scale (MPS1-MPS6).

The Nursery operates as a half-day morning provision, offering a focused, high-quality Early Years experience in a well-resourced environment.

Children attend from 8:30am to 11:30am, with staff hours running from 8:00am - 12:30pm to allow for preparation, setup and reflection time.

The Role

You will:

• Lead a morning Nursery class within a well-supported EYFS team
• Deliver a creative, language-rich and play-based curriculum
• Build strong routines, independence and early learning foundations
• Work closely with teaching assistants to provide high-quality provision
• Develop strong relationships with families during this crucial first stage of education
• Maintain accurate assessments in line with EYFS expectations

This is a hands-on, active and highly rewarding Early Years role requiring warmth, organisation and a deep understanding of child development.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
• Experience teaching in Nursery or Reception
• A nurturing, patient and proactive approach
• High expectations for behaviour and early learning outcomes
• Excellent communication skills with parents and carers

This position would suit both experienced Nursery teachers and strong Early Years practitioners ready to take full class responsibility.
