Director of Bereavement Support and Community & Volunteering

Sands are now seeking a compassionate and strategic leader to join their Senior Leadership Group as Director of Bereavement Support and Community & Volunteering. This role leads two areas at the heart of who Sands are - ensuring their support services remain inclusive, high-quality and evidence-based, while strengthening and expanding their community and volunteering offer.

We are looking for candidates who can:

• Provide inclusive, human-centred leadership
• Ensure bereavement support runs as a "golden thread" throughout all their work
• Grow and develop their community and volunteering programme
• Act as a visible and credible ambassador for Sands
