Warehouse Supervisor - Goods In

Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor that has previously worked in a fast-paced distribution centre environment as a Supervisor or Team Leader in the Goods In team to join our busy client in Luton. This role will start off as a 12 week temp role on Interaction Recruitment's payroll. Once the initial 12 weeks are complete the successful candidate will join our client on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. Depending on circumstances the role may become full-time (this cannot be guaranteed currently)

The Working Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00

Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour + Holiday

This role involves:

• safely receive products, including returns
• check against delivery notes / Purchase Orders
• book in and put away
• oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflows in Goods In area
• leading the team, fostering a collaborative and high performing culture
• drive Health & Safety initiatives and ensure compliance
• maintain stock accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly
• train, develop and support the team
• communicate across departments and external stakeholders

To be considered for this role you must have / be:

• previous experience working within a Goods In Team Leader or Supervisor role
• a Reach / Counterbalance forklift licence
• proven experience in warehouse operations and leadership
• strong Health & Safety knowledge and a track record of safe practices
• strong experience using Warehouse Management Systems
• strong problem solving and communication skills
• hands-on leadership style with a focus on collaboration
• physical ability to manage warehouse activities (standing, lifting up to 20kg
