Salary: Circa 50k per annum

What you’ll be doing:

• Participate in preparation for and support to Audit (Internal & External)
• Leading and supporting process review and improvement where Financial Control operate or assure processes/controls
• Supporting the applicable financial controls as required, including support to process design
• Supporting financial transaction processing that is accurate, efficient and in accordance with the financial control requirements, including intervention in support of query resolution
• Supervise transactional review activity, applying judgement where required, to provide process assurance (data accuracy, data quality, compliance, etc)
• Preparing and presenting accurate reporting information for a variety of stakeholders, including regular provision of bespoke information in order to drive outcomes
• Plan and deliver the co-ordination of data collection from multiple stakeholders
• Provision of support to internal and external customers in the application of the established policies, processes and procedures
• Support management review sessions as required

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

• Excellent wide ranging business knowledge gained from education and practical experience, with accounting experience, as a fully-qualified accountant
• Excellent use of standard business software packages (e.g. Microsoft Office, etc), with knowledge of specific software required (e.g. HFM, SAP, Cadency, Blackline etc)
• Demonstrable experience in process improvement

The Financial Control Team:

You will be a member of the Financial Control job family and will deliver ongoing support across Financial Control Capability Centre (Centrally, across Sector(s) and to Individual Business Units), as well as the wider Finance function.

The Senior Reporting Accountant will typically deliver specific duties on behalf of the Financial Control function, to customers in the UK.
