GSL Education London Branch is searching for a dedicated and professional School Receptionist to join a prestigious girls' secondary school in Hackney. If you have exceptional organisational skills, a welcoming personality, and a passion for creating positive first impressions, this role is perfect for you!

• Providing an efficient receptionist/switchboard service for the academy, interacting with all visitors, both on the phone and in person, promptly and courteously.
• Acting as the first point of contact for all visitors to the academy and ensuring relevant safeguarding documentation is collected and passed to the HR Manager.
• Contributing to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people in line with the Every Child Matters agenda and Child Protection procedures.
• Welcoming all visitors, staff, parents, and students in a polite and friendly manner.
• Printing access control passes for staff and students as directed.
• Ensuring the reception area and adjacent meeting rooms are tidy and well-maintained, liaising with the marketing team to update literature and visual displays.
• Managing the daily dispatch of post efficiently.

• Previous experience as a School Receptionist or in a similar role is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive and professional attitude with a passion for providing excellent service.
