Responsibilities of the History Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons to students across various key stages.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and refine curriculum content, ensuring it remains current and relevant.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enhance the overall educational experience for students.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• A degree in History or a related field.
• Proven experience as a History Teacher at the secondary level is advantageous.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the discipline.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of educational advancements.
