Physics Teacher

• Job Type: Temporary (Immediate start)
• Location: Surrey
• Pay Rate: £275 per day

We urgently require a Physics Teacher to cover a staff absence, with an appointment ideally to be made by Wednesday. This role is ideal for candidates with a robust understanding of Physics and experience in teaching A Level Physics, preferably following the OCR specification.

• Teach both practical and theoretical aspects of Physics.
• Engage with large class sizes in a supportive and high-performing school environment.
• Utilize a solid scheme of work with comprehensive resources provided.
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom atmosphere.

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 9:25 AM - 1:00 PM
• Wednesday: 9:25 AM - 3:10 PM (occasionally until 3:00 PM)

• Strong subject knowledge in Physics.
• Experience teaching A Level Physics, ideally following the OCR specification.
• A degree in Physics, Maths, or Engineering.
• Teaching qualification: PGCE, QTS, or QTLS.
• Desirable: Experience beyond A Level (e.g., Oxbridge preparation, Physics Olympiad coaching), familiarity with subject-based assessments in Maths/Physics.

• Competitive daily rate of £275.
• Access to on-site parking and gym facilities.
• Work in a school with no behavioural issues and a supportive culture.

• Initial Teams call with the Headteacher.
