Our client, an expanding winery located near Faversham, Kent, is seeking a temporary Forklift Driver to join our team for two days - Tuesday 28th January and Wednesday, 29th January. This could lead to further work through the year as and when required.

About the Role: You'll play a crucial role in supporting our disgorging process, ensuring the efficient movement of crates and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to load, unload, transport, and stack pallets of bottles, crates, and other winery supplies.
• Work collaboratively with the disgorging team to ensure timely and accurate material movement.
• Conduct pre-shift inspections of your assigned forklift and report any maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid forklift operator certification (minimum Counterbalance) with recent experience.
• Excellent safety record and a strong commitment to safe work practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A flexible and positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Experience working in a winery production environment is a plus.
