A respected charitable organisation is seeking a Maintenance Officer to join their team and take responsibility for the upkeep of a historic, multi-storey property in Euston. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in building maintenance, particularly in fabric works and compliance, to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance, with a focus on fabric repairs.
• Oversee fire door remediation and ensure compliance with Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) recommendations.
• Conduct Legionella control tasks (e.g., flushing, temperature testing).
• Support void property turnaround to ensure smooth transitions between tenants.
• Maintain Asbestos Awareness (training can be provided).
• Liaise with external contractors for electrical, gas, and HVAC works.

Desirable Experience:

• Background in general maintenance, particularly within older or listed buildings.
• Plumbing experience is advantageous.
• Experience working in environments with vulnerable individuals is a plus.

Additional Details:

• Flexible working hours as long as the 37.5-hour weekly contract is fulfilled.
• Overtime opportunities may be available to support operational needs.
• An Enhanced DBS check will be processed upon offer acceptance.
