A well-regarded Infants school in Sutton is looking to appoint a full-time Year 1 Class Teacher. This is a classroom teaching role, with flexibility regarding the year group within KS1, and a competitive salary offered in line with experience via PAYE.

This Infants School is based in a leafy, sub-urban area in the borough of Sutton. The latest Ofsted report in 2023 rated them as a Good School, and they are growing their staff cohort with a Year 1 Teacher to join their team.

They are proud to deliver learning via a non-traditional provision based on the Early Years Model - with an open plan environment with inside and outside learning daily, including teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full teaching responsibility for a Key Stage 1 class (year 1)

• Maintain a positive learning environment and ensure pupils' health, safety and well-being

• Experience teaching to the EY Model or open to delivering their teaching method through this route

• Assess, record and report on pupils' progress, development, attainment, and personal and social needs

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, overseas police clearance (if applicable), and professional references
