Senior .NET Developer

Role: Senior .NET/Cloud Developer
Contract: 6-Months
Location: London/Belfast
Work Model: Hybrid/Onsite

A leading global financial services firm is seeking a Senior .NET/Cloud Developer for a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate should be flexible, self-motivated, and capable of independently managing development tasks from the backlog, delivering them with minimal supervision. You will play a key role in the development of the invoicing platform, with a focus on scalability and functionality improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong programming skills in C#, Entity Framework, and AWS platforms
• Take ownership of backlog tickets, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
• Enhance an existing codebase for invoicing platform functionality and scalability
• Build and maintain Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm Charts for deployment pipelines
• Support new joiners and promote knowledge sharing within the team
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure system reliability, particularly around invoicing and billing

Essential Skills:

• 5+ years of experience with C#, Entity Framework, and AWS development
• Proficiency with AWS services, infrastructure scripting, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm Charts
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as SQL, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, and Amazon RDS
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely billing data, minimizing defects for SIT and UAT teams
• Experience working with broking and financial asset classes is highly desirable
