Lead Electrical Project Manager

Lead Electrical Project Manager required for a major offshore wind developer based in England

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing the electrical engineering scope of the onshore converter station for the offshore wind farm.
• Collaborate with a small team of electrical engineers to ensure subcontractors meet the technical and quality requirements for the design of LV, HV components, and SCADA systems.
• Coordinate electrical engineering tasks between project participants and suppliers.
• Monitor time schedules, progress, and deliverables of contractors and specialists.
• Participate in project team meetings and technical discussions.

Requirements

• A degree in electrical engineering with several years of experience in the field.
• Extensive experience in technical project management
• Experience with construction and development of onshore substations
• Regular site visits are expected. Additionally, you will oversee the grid connection to the onshore station.
