Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate tutor to provide face-to-face tuition for a young person in Year 12, located in MK42 (Bedford). This student is motivated to engage in education and is seeking support to prepare for college applications next year.
- Location: MK42, Bedford (in-person sessions required)
- Hours: 4 hours per week
- 2 hours - English GCSE
- 2 hours - Maths GCSE
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Duration: Ongoing throughout the academic year
As a Tutor, you will: - Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons that meet the student's individual needs and interests
- Support the young person in developing emotional regulation strategies
- Foster a positive, supportive, and safe learning environment
- Gradually build a strong rapport and encourage participation at the student's own pace
- Work closely with parents/carers and other professionals as needed
About you: - Experience teaching GCSE English and Maths
- Ability to provide SEN support and adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Passionate about helping young people achieve their potential
- Reliable, patient, and able to build rapport with young learners
