EHS Specialist

CK Group are recruiting for a EHS Specialist, to join one of the top ten companies in the pharmaceutical industry, on a contract basis for 12 months.

Salary:

Up to £30.78 per hour PAYE, this role is inside IR35.

EHS Specialist Role:

• Providing expert guidance and input on environmental, health, and safety issues during the initial stages of projects.
• Serve as the primary EHS contact for project teams.
• Ensure that EHS standards, regulations, and best practices are integrated into project plans and designs.
• Develop EHS briefing materials and deliver presentations to project stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication between project teams, ensuring transparency and awareness of EHS issues and solutions.

Your Background:

• Hold a degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, a related field or have equivalent working experience.
• Working experience in a EHS role, with a focus on project management or design phases, within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
• Ability to analyse complex data and provide practical EHS solutions.
• EHS certification (e.g., NEBOSH Diploma) or equivalent is preferred.

Location:

This role is based at our clients site in Stevenage.
