Interim Financial Controller, £400 - £500 per day, Cambridge, Initial 3-Month Contract, 2 Days Per Week

We're delighted to be partnered with a successful life sciences business based in the Cambridge area as they look to bring an Interim Financial Controller into the team on a short-term contract basis.

Your new role
You will be joining the team to support the back end of a finance transformation project, during which IFS has been implemented. The system is ready to go, so your role will be to create workflows on the test system, before rolling these out on the live system and training the team on the correct process. This means you will be delving into how the finance function operates, what information the business needs out of the system and how to best get that out of IFS.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, we're looking for:

• An experienced Accountant with prior experience of working on an ERP system
• Working knowledge of IFS, either through a systems upgrade or day-to-day working knowledge
• Not essential, but it's a real bonus if you have been involved in systems integrations previously.

What you'll get in return

• A Day Rate of between £400 - £500 per day
• 2 days work per week, with some flexibility on the days you choose, giving you the chance to manage your work around other commitments
