Role: School Caretaker
Location: Haringey
Salary: £150 - £200 per day (Depending on experience)
Start: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and general upkeep of school premises.
• Carry out minor repairs, basic plumbing, and maintenance tasks.
• Open and lock up the school buildings daily and supervise site security.
• Monitor heating, lighting, and alarm systems, reporting faults as necessary.
• Ensure playgrounds and outdoor areas are safe and tidy.
• Support the setup and movement of furniture/equipment for school events.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a caretaker, site manager, or maintenance role (school setting preferred).
• Basic maintenance and DIY skills.
• A strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
