Job Opportunity: Warehouse Operative / Relief Driver Location: Beckton, East London Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (with flexibility required) Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience) Holiday: 25 days (with Christmas shutdown) Perks: Pension scheme, on-site parking, training & development opportunities

Our client is currently looking for a Warehouse Operative / Relief Driver to join their hardworking team based in Beckton, East London. This is a full-time, hands-on role with a key responsibility for supporting daily warehouse operations - and occasionally stepping in to cover driving duties during staff absences (annual leave or sickness).

Warehouse Duties (Primary Role):

• Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders

• Unloading and loading deliveries safely

• Carrying out inventory checks and maintaining accurate stock records

• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe

• Operating equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)

Driving Duties (Cover Only):

• Covering delivery routes during driver absence

• Ensuring timely and professional customer deliveries

• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues

• Prior warehouse experience preferred (but not essential)

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

• Reliable and flexible with working hours

• Good communication skills and a strong team player

• Forklift license (advantageous but not essential - training available)

• Full UK driving licence (required for driving cover)
