Are you confident, adaptable, and passionate about working with young people?An excellent secondary school in Bexley is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join their dedicated team immediately after the October half term.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons to classes in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This is a key role in maintaining continuity of education and ensuring a positive learning environment across all subject areas.

• Supervise whole classes during short-term teacher absences

• Ensure students remain on task and engage with the lesson material

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies

• Report back to relevant teaching staff on student progress and conduct

• Provide support to departments when not covering lessons

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting

• Is confident managing behaviour in a classroom environment

• Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Is flexible, calm under pressure, and proactive

• Has a genuine interest in education and supporting student development
