Strategic Head of Asset Management

A Local Authority is recruiting an experienced a leader to take on a pivotal role in shaping their approach to capital delivery and asset management.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop a high-performing Project, Programme and Performance Management function that oversees the Council-wide Capital Programme. You will provide both challenge and support to service areas, ensuring high-quality delivery, robust performance monitoring, and effective coordination of all capital projects.

Alongside this, you will spearhead the Strategic Asset Management function, driving the implementation of the Council's Asset Management Strategy. You'll ensure our assets are optimally utilised, using data-led approaches to inform decision-making and align asset management practices with the Council's long-term priorities and objectives.

You will also lead the design and delivery of the Asset Strategy, working collaboratively with colleagues in Social Investment, Property, and across all Council services to optimise the Council's asset portfolio and maximise the value and impact of our assets for residents and communities.
