Finance Assistant

Bennett and Game are representing a multi-disciplinary Top 150 Consultancy based in Colchester who are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their growing team. With nearly 100 years of experience and multiple offices across the UK, our client has gained an excellent reputation within the industry. The Accounts Assistant will be tasked with thr AP function as well as month end, so this is an excellent opportunity to quickily develop your skills within a professional environment. They are offering a starting salary of up to 30,000 in addition to a range of benefits including hybrid working, bonus schemes, generous annual leave, private healthcare, paid training / progression plans and professional fees.

Finance Assistant Position Overview

• Inputting/uploading of purchase invoices into Sage with correct nominal code allocation
• Processing of purchase invoices into Sage
• Processing supplier payments
• Reduction of aged debts and resolution of late payments
• Process monthly payroll of 270 staff
• Other general ad hoc duties as and when required

Finance Assistant Position Requirements

• Previous experience within a similar role previously
• Experience with Sage 50
• Proficient with Excel, word and outlook
• Commutable distance to Colchester

Finance Assistant Position Remuneration

• 25,000 - 30,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday 8:30am - 17:00pm
• Hybrid working up to 3 day per week
• Holiday: 25 days per annum, plus bank holidays and additional days accrued with service.
