Year 3 Teacher - Part Time (2 Days per Week) Location: Hillingdon, West London Salary: MPS - UPS (dependent on experience) Contract: Part Time - Monday & Tuesday Start Date: September 2026

SANZA Teaching Agency are working exclusively with a welcoming and well-regarded Church of England primary school in Hillingdon who are seeking a confident and experienced Year 3 Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and values-led school community with a strong Christian ethos and excellent local reputation. The school are looking for a committed Key Stage 2 practitioner who can take full responsibility for a Year 3 class across two days per week (Monday and Tuesday), including full teaching responsibilities and PPA.

The successful candidate will be joining a collaborative lower KS2 team within a school that places strong emphasis on both academic achievement and pupil wellbeing. The school promotes a calm, respectful learning environment where children are motivated and eager to learn.

The Role

The school are seeking an experienced Year 3 Teacher who can take full responsibility for the class across two days per week.

Responsibilities will include: Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across the Year 3 curriculum Taking full responsibility for teaching, planning, marking and assessment (including PPA) Monitoring pupil progress and implementing targeted support where required Creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement Working collaboratively with the parallel class teacher and wider KS2 team Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 3 experience desirable) Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills Ability to plan, assess and differentiate effectively A positive and proactive attitude Strong communication and organisational skills A genuine passion for primary education
