Sheet Metal Worker

Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading sub-contractor in the Energy from Waste sector. They are looking to recruit 6 x Sheet Metal Workers on a 3-month minimum contract for its site in Essex.

The Sheet Metal Worker role comes with a competitive hourly rate.

Key skills required for the Sheet Metal Worker role

• Required to carry out boiler cladding works
• Must be able to work with trapezoidal and flat sheet metal
• Able to perform various finishing tasks such as corners and hatches
• Must have a solid understanding of sheet metal work
• Must hold a valid VCA or CSCS Card, Working at Heights, Abrasive Wheels & Manual Handling Certificate
• Must also hold all PPE & relevant Tools such as Drill, Marking Measure Talmeter, Riveting & Universal Pliers, Special Wool Scissors, Wool Cutting Knife, AWL, Tape Measure, Offset cutting snips, Divider, Locking Grip Pliers, Square, Straps with buckle, Wire Tie Tool and Pincers.
