Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Kenley, Croydon Start Date: October 2025 (or as soon as possible)Contract: 1 Year Fixed Term - Full-time

An inclusive one-form entry primary school in Kenley, Croydon are now looking for an experienced and proactive 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join an outstanding and diverse school as soon as possible this October. You'll be liaising with other staff members across the school and working closely with the SENCo to ensure all students feel supported, understood and cared for.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you'll be supporting a KS1 key child with extensive emotional regulation needs. Whether it's giving 1:1 support, running an individual intervention, or helping create a calm and welcoming classroom.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children with SEN (in a mainstream or SEN setting)
• Someone who is proactive, passionate and caring.
• A team player who's happy to get involved and support needed.
• Qualifications such as a CACHE Level 3 with education / childcare.
• A warm, caring, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children is must.
• Strong understanding of child development and SEN knowledge.
• Strong behaviour management.
