Senior Quality Technician - High Wycombe

Working: This role does require onsite working with possible Flexible working opportunities

Key Responsibilities

• In-process, final & goods-in inspection, using a variety of tools & equipment to support inspection activity
• Support calibration/asset management activity at UMUK's Loudwater site, liaising with other site calibration leads and external calibration partners as necessary
• Support BMS process development to ensure alignment to international standard & customer requirements, reflecting best practice into the wider team
• Supporting quality engineers with managing non-conformance events, such as Material Review Boards, and supporting effective Corrective Action closure
• Support repair activities by performing incoming assessments and diagnostic reports
• Be tasked with improvement projects to support CPD & achieve business improvement targets
• The Quality Technician will also provide guidance to lower level Quality Technicians, where required.

Skills, Qualification and Experience

• Must have an understanding in root cause analysis
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), ERP systems, Minitab and other Quality assurance tools.
• Experience within Quality Inspection
• Experience with electronic components, PCBAs, and/or batteries is preferred.
• Experience in the Defence / Aerospace or safety regulated environment would be advantageous
• Experience in the Naval / Maritime domain would be advantageous.
