Are you a motivated Religious Education Teacher with a passion for guiding students through big ideas, beliefs, and worldviews? We are seeking an experienced and engaging teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Surrey on a full-time, permanent basis from January 2026.

About the Role:As a RE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering well-structured and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 encouraging students to explore a range of religious, spiritual, and philosophical perspectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons aligned with the national curriculum.

• Create a safe and inclusive classroom where students feel respected and heard.

• Encourage respectful debate, critical thinking, and reflective learning.

• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.

• Contribute to the development of the Humanities curriculum and participate in departmental planning.

• Support whole-school events and initiatives that promote cultural awareness and personal development.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Experience teaching Religious Education at secondary school level.

• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

• A genuine passion for RE and the ability to make the subject relevant and engaging.

• Right to Work in the UK is essential.

• Must be available to start in January 2026.
