As the Industry Marketing & Engagement Lead for Sky Entertainment Group, you will be responsible for devising and delivering an agenda of impactful events, engagement activities and trade marketing for Sky Studios Elstree and the wider Sky Entertainment Group. In addition to this, you will be responsible for Sky's corporate presence at key TV festivals and industry events in the UK and internationally, as well as for delivering Sky Entertainment Group's internal engagement activity, building and nurturing a purpose-driven culture.
What you'll do: - Internal Engagement & Culture: Working closely with the CEO Sky Studios and Chief Content Officer, you will be responsible for building an internal engagement plan that delivers the Sky Entertainment Group Purpose, working to embed our purpose and values within the wider team. You will also be responsible for partnering with teams around the business to ensure Sky Entertainment Group's purpose and strategy is understood and our unmissable Sky content is respected and loved.
- Sky Studios Elstree: Ensuring continued high awareness of the UK's newest film and TV studio amongst the industry by delivering an agenda of events and trade marketing activities that drive awareness and consideration. In addition to this, you will be responsible for working with the MD and Client Services team on all trade marketing materials as well as the studios' website and digital channels.
- Festivals and Industry Engagement: Responsible for building an industry engagement plan that ensures Sky is actively and meaningfully engaged in all key industry events in the UK across all genres. This also includes devising and delivering Sky-owned events for the industry - such as indie briefing days, cast and crew screenings etc - as well as leading on Sky's corporate presence at key TV festivals including the Edinburgh TV Festival, Content London, Series Mania and more. This includes working with the Sky Entertainment Group Leadership Team and cross-functionally with teams across Sky to develop messaging, write briefing notes, manage logistics and build productive relationships with Festival teams.
This role reports to the Director of Original Brands, International and Awards at Sky Entertainment Group and has one direct report.
What you'll bring:
- Industry Knowledge : Deep knowledge of the UK and international TV landscape and key issues, with experience of working across a range of key festivals and events.
- Narrative Creation : Ability to write well, craft clear and compelling narrative and brand materials, with a positive obsession for language.
- Event Delivery : You are able to deliver a range of events from small, intimate dinners to large, two-day offsites for 300 colleagues. You'll have a keen eye for detail and the creativity to build memorable and engaging events.
- Relationship Building : You will be a keen relationship builder and thrive working cross-functionally in a large, matrixed, corporate environment.
