Software Developer - SC Cleared

My client is a prestigious government organisation in London, who're seeking a skilled Software Developer to support the development of an in-house plat-form as part of its digital transformation journey. The successful candidate will work within a small, agile team to build and enhance applications using Microsoft Power Platform technologies.

Contract Length: 6 months

Location: London (remote with occasional office visits when needed ad hoc)

IR35: In Scope

Pay Rate to Candidate: £650 pd

Security Clearance: SC Cleared

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Canvas and Power Apps applications
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to iterative delivery.
• Ensure solutions align with GDS (Government Digital Service) standards.
• Support the integration of applications with existing systems and data sources.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Essential skills and experience

• Highly skilled in and recent experience of developing and optimising complex, enterprise-scale Canvas Apps, with evidence of expertise in performance, scalability, and security.
• Skilled in Microsoft Dataverse and Azure Pipelines.
• Microsoft Power Platform Developer (PL-400) qualification.
• 3+ years Power Platform experience.
• 6+ years Software Development experience.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience using Power BI.
• Experience with Power Automate, Dataverse, and other Microsoft 365 tools.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and data protection principles.
• Previous experience in public sector or government projects.
